Giving diners the chance to dine a bit lighter this holiday season, Fleming\u2019s Steakhouse and Wine Bar is offering a new small plates menu.<br \/>\nFleming\u2019s new small plates menu is intended to be enjoyed with a glass of wine, shared with friends, as a starting course to a meal or even as an alternative to a large entr\u00e9e. Sliced Filet Mignon on shiitake risotto, chili oil, drizzled with porcini butter; Jumbo Shrimp Scampi Skewers with chimichurri dipping sauce and avocado citrus salad; New Zealand Petite Lamb Chops with pistachio-mint pesto, \u201cF-17\u201d sauce, and polenta fries; Ahi Tuna Skewers with wasabi aioli, sweet tomato vinaigrette, and homemade wonton chips; New Bedford Scallops with meyer lemon-honey glaze, baby carrots, green beans, and asparagus; Filet Mignon Skewers with gorgonzola-bacon fondue, mozzarella and sweet tomato salad; and Fleming\u2019s Lobster Tempura with soy-ginger dipping sauce, arugula, jicama and apple salad. The lobster tempura is a favorite of Fleming\u2019s executive chef Russell Skall. \u201cWe took a guest favorite that was an indulgent, high-calorie appetizer, and recreated it. You still have the succulent lobster and dipping sauce only now it\u2019s paired with a salad and has only half the calories.\u201d<br \/>\nFleming\u2019s small plates range in price from $15.50 \u2013 $22.95. The items on the small plates menu (as well as much of the Fleming\u2019s menu) can be modified to be gluten free upon request. The new small plates menu is available at all four local Fleming\u2019s location: Scottsdale\u2019s DC Ranch, Chandler, Scottsdale and Peoria. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flemingssteakhouse.com\/\"
