Who doesn&#8217;t love to eat pancakes and scrambled eggs after a long day at the office? Well, many Valley restaurants are switching things up and offering sweet, dessert-inspired breakfasts to give our days a sweet start. Now, it&#8217;s certainly not smart to switch up your egg white omelet or granola for chocolate chip pancakes every day. But on those occasional leisurely Saturday mornings, we think a bananas foster waffle would be mighty tasty. Here are a few sweet a.m. eats to check out.<br \/>\nAt the Phoenix- and Scottsdale-based <strong>Over Easy<\/strong> restaurants, Chef Aaron May dishes up sinfully good pancakes that are speckled with the chocolatey treat of your choice: chocolate chips, M&amp;Ms or Reese\u2019s. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatatovereasy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.eatatovereasy.com\/<\/a>.<br \/>\nThough the restaurant usually dishes up hearty American West fare, during breakfast time at <strong>Renegade Canteen<\/strong> in Scottsdale, Chef Robert McGrath serves a bananas foster waffle (pictured), topped with whipped cream&#8211;of course. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renegadecanteen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.renegadecanteen.com\/<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>Chompie&#8217;s<\/strong>, in Scottsdale, is known for its mile-high sandwiches and all-day breakfast, including the delightful strawberry shortcake pancakes. The pancakes are made from scratch, and crowned with delish strawberries and&#8211;the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance&#8211;shortcake crumbles. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chompies.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.chompies.com\/<\/a>.<br \/>\nThe finger-lickin&#8217;-good apple fritters at <strong>Joe&#8217;s Farm Grill<\/strong> in Gilbert are served hot and rolled in cinnamon sugar.
