This weekend, the\u00a0new\u00a0Summer Chef Series, from the Devour Phoenix restaurant coalition, will kick off, providing Valley food lovers a unique way to keep cool and learn from some of the Valley&#8217;s best chefs.\u00a0Inside the Phoenix Public Market some of the Valley\u2019s finest chefs will conduct two-hour cooking classes, including tastings, two beverages of the chef&#8217;s choice and take-home recipes during the Summer Chef Series. Each chef will have their own unique theme for summertime cooking. The series is a collaboration of Devour Phoenix, an initiative of Local First Arizona, and the Phoenix Public Market, a program of Community Food Connections. The Summer Chef Series is Saturdays from July 23 &#8211; September 3 from 2\u00a0to 4 p.m. Tickets are $45 and may be purchased online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixpublicmarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.phoenixpublicmarket.com\/<\/a>. Proceeds go to benefit the Phoenix Public Market and Devour Phoenix.<br \/>\nChef Lineup:<br \/>\nJuly 23: Tudie Frank-Johnson from D\u2019licious Dishes will help us beat the heat with Popcorn Crawfish Salad \u2013 spicy, fried crawfish tails tossed with market greens &amp; baby tomatoes; Achiote Marinated Chicken Breast on the grill with Cucumber Salsa; and Vanilla Crepes with Crow\u2019s Dairy Butter Pecan Goat Cheese and Cajeta for dessert.<br \/>\nJuly 30: Aaron Chamberlain from St. Francis will be preparing fresh, healthy summer favorites and will share tips on keeping a stocked pantry to maximize your time in the kitchen.
