Heaven knows we&#8217;ve been anxiously tapping our feet since William Sonoma home announced their opening, waiting impatiently for each new store to open. However, we were talking to a few of our friends this weekend who don\u2019t get to our side of town much, and while they did know about the opening of the Apple Store and H&amp;M, they still had no clue about the recent progress of Scottsdale Quarter.\u00a0 Arizona Foothills has been highlighting our favorite shopping excursions and helping you make a day trip to an area that may be outside comfort zone, whether it\u2019s just up the road from where you usually shop or an hour away. Scottsdale Quarter is worth the drive; there\u2019s no other shopping experience quite like it anywhere else in the Valley and we suggest making a day trip out of it!<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>The Scottsdale Quarter (North Scottsdale)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/wp-content\/uploads\/scottsdale-quarter1.jpg\"><img  loading=\"lazy\"  decoding=\"async\"  class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-5002 pk-lqip pk-lazyload\"  title=\"scottsdale-quarter\"  src=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20042844\/scottsdale-quarter1-80x80.jpg\"  alt=\"\"  width=\"150\"  height=\"150\"  data-pk-sizes=\"auto\"  data-ls-sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\"  data-pk-src=\"http:\/\/www.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/wp-content\/uploads\/scottsdale-quarter1-150x150.jpg\"  data-pk-srcset=\"https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20042844\/scottsdale-quarter1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20042844\/scottsdale-quarter1-80x80.jpg 80w, https:\/\/media.arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/20042844\/scottsdale-quarter1-110x110.jpg 110w\" ><\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Where to Shop:<\/strong><br \/>\nWe don\u2019t normally do this, but since nearly every store in Scottsdale Quarter is new, we\u2019re just going to list \u2018em all.<br \/>\n<strong>Armani Exchange: <\/strong>one of the few locations in The Valley, you will not see AX at most of our malls.<br \/>\n<strong>The Apple Store:<\/strong> The biggest and best of the Apple Stores in the Valley. If you are a Mac extremist, you\u2019ve already been here and probably sighed something along the lines of \u201cI\u2019m in heaven.\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>Bounty Hunter:<\/strong> After their fame and celebrity support in Telluride, Colorado, this high-end western outfitters store knew Scottsdale had to be the next stop.<br \/>\n<strong>Carine W:<\/strong> A women\u2019s boutique that also offers custom fitting and alterations.<br \/>\n<strong>Deegie\u2019s Carma:<\/strong> A brand new concept that offers a full experience for the ladies! Affordable clothes and accessories, a hair salon and a nail salon.<br \/>\n<strong>Elan Style:<\/strong> Stylish and comfortable women\u2019s boutique<br \/>\n<strong>giggle<\/strong>: The \u201cone stop shop\u201d for new parents. This store is SO cute and we\u2019ve been caught in there a few times for no good reason.<br \/>\n<strong>H&amp;M:<\/strong> One of only 3 locations in Arizona and the first one in the Valley. Each H&amp;M has a different selection, so even if you frequent the Fashion Square or Tucson location, we bet you\u2019ll still be very excited here.<br \/>\n<strong>Lenscrafters:<\/strong> designer glasses and shades.<br \/>\n<strong>lululemon athletica<\/strong>: women\u2019s athletic store that will make you super excited about working out.<br \/>\n<strong>NIKE:<\/strong> this Nike store is beautiful. You\u2019re going to want to buy everything.<br \/>\n<strong>Paris Optique:<\/strong> luxury Eyewear<br \/>\n<strong>Sunglass Hut: <\/strong>awesome Sunglasses.<br \/>\n<strong>West Elm:<\/strong> The luxury home store that started it all, this was the first store to join Scottsdale Quarter and we bet you\u2019re going to want to redesign your entire home after you walk in.<br \/>\n<strong>Activities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Avalon Nail Salon and Spa: <\/strong>A quick nail salon \u2013 they\u2019ll have you in and out in a jiffy.<br \/>\n<strong>iPic Theaters:<\/strong> Oh. Em. Gee. If you haven\u2019t heard of or been to IPic Theaters yet: WAKE UP AND GO. \u00a0The luxury movie theater serves drinks and food inside the theater, without reservations or having to sit a table. In fact, each chair is an oversized leather seat that you\u2019ll want to take home with you. Their concession stands offer beer on tap as well as salads and wine, so you don\u2019t have to be tempted in to popcorn or candy every time you go to the theater. Each dish is as healthy-as-can-be and you wouldn\u2019t even know it.\u00a0 Most likely you\u2019ll catch us on the patio at least once a week.<br \/>\n<strong>Brio:<\/strong> Tuscan Grille is a casual, white tablecloth restaurant serving northern Italian cuisine<br \/>\n<strong>Grimaldi\u2019s Pizza: <\/strong>Their newest location in the Valley and some darn good pizza. If you\u2019re an Arizona local and have not been to Grimaldi\u2019s yet, shame on you.<br \/>\n<strong>Menchie\u2019s Frozen Yogurt:<\/strong> Self serve yogurt and they offer gluten free options.<br \/>\n<strong>Narcisse Champagne and Tea Lounge:<\/strong> We haven\u2019t been yet, but the concept sounds like another, \u201cwhy didn\u2019t we think of this before?!\u201d things. Let us know what you think on Twitter if you\u2019ve been: @AZFoothillsFood<br \/>\n<strong>Parc Central: <\/strong>International Cuisine offering a progressive menu, happy hour menu and late night menu.<br \/>\n<strong>Press Coffee:<\/strong> The only coffee shop in Scottsdale Quarter, and for good reason, their tough competition!<br \/>\n<strong>Primebar:<\/strong> A very Scottsdale-ish hub, this is a neighborhood hot-spot<br \/>\n<strong>Stingray Sushi:<\/strong> Their third location in The Valley, this very trendy sushi bar is catching on and we\u2019re hoping for more locations soon. We could eat here every day and the huge fish tanks never get old.<br \/>\n<strong>Tanzy:<\/strong> Location in iPic Theatre, Tanzy has some of the best views in Scottsdale. You don\u2019t have to go to a movie to have dinner at Tanzy, but you\u2019ll definitely want to make reservations; Tanzy will always be packed.<br \/>\n<strong>TK\u2019s Urban Tavern:<\/strong> This location is great for happy hours or a casual dining experience. This is great for the picky eater because, well, everything is great and there\u2019s something for everyone.<br \/>\n<strong>Where to Park:<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you\u2019re going on a weekend, parking is going to be a mess. We say don\u2019t bother looking for the perfect spot.
