Tourist season aka Event\/Festival\/Spring Training Season aka The Best Time Ever in The Valley!\u00a0 A few things to look forward to: Barrett Jackson (now!), the Waste Management Open, Spring Training, the Culinary Festival, and the Renaissance Festival. Within the next couple of months, you’re bound to be out and about with friends, family and visitors.\u00a0 But where to take them after the festivities?<\/em>
\nTop Country Bars in Phoenix<\/strong>

\nWe suggest saddling up and moseying on over to a country bar: perfect for tourists, twenty-somethings or even Mom and Dad. Most country bars in Phoenix offer live music, dancing and plenty of places to sit.
\nThe Rusty Spur Saloon<\/strong> (Old Town Scottsdale):\u00a0 Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, this tiny bar is about as authentic as you can get for Scottsdale.\u00a0 We suggest parking early, strolling around Main Street and grabbing a seat before the line is out the door.\u00a0 \u00a0Originally a bank in the 1920\u2019s, the old vault now holds beer and dollar bills hang all over the ceiling. Expect live music and to meet a man with a handlebar mustache.

The Rusty Spur<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nPinnacle Peak Patio Steakhouse and Microbrewery<\/strong> (North Scottsdale):\u00a0 If you wear a tie to this Western joint, it will be confiscated. We\u2019re serious.\u00a0 They\u2019ll cut it right off your neck and hang it from the ceiling. The simple menu was built for cowboys and cowgirls: steak, potatoes and some darn good corn on the cob. They also brew their own beer; we\u2019re a sucker for the Pinnacle Peak Pale Ale.

\nGreesewood Flats<\/strong> (North Scottsdale): \u00a0At Greesewood Flats you\u2019ll find bikers, Scottsdale finest, cowboys, families and youngins. \u00a0Originally a bunkhouse built over 120 years ago, the bar now has dollar bills hanging from every inch of the walls and ceiling. Remember to bring dollar bills of your own; this bar only accepts cash.\u00a0 When the weather is warm,\u00a0 the outdoor \u00a0area (which can hold up to 1,000) is packed. Pick your own bench, fire pit and wood for the evening and settle in for food, drinks, horseshoes and dancing.

Greesewood Flats<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nToby Keith\u2019s I Love This Bar and Grill<\/strong> (Mesa):\u00a0 We love to be twirled by cowboys at Toby Keith\u2019s!\u00a0 Drink beer out of huge mason jars and dance the night away to some of the best live country bands in The Valley.\u00a0 We will warn you that Toby Keith\u2019s does bring in a bit of a younger crowd on the weekends and you\u2019ll definitely have to wait in line before you can pony up to the bar, but you will see representation of every age and we bet no matter what, it will be hard to resist a dance.

\nHarold\u2019s Corral <\/strong>(Cave Creek):\u00a0 Dubbed a \u201cBiker Bar\u201d by the locals, this place is packed on the weekends with cowboys, bikers, football lovers and at least one bachelorette party. The live music is worth the drive to Cave Creek and with a \u00a0huge dance floor, two bars, pool tables and patio, you\u2019ll be at Harold\u2019s all night! We did hear whispers that you should call ahead to check which band is playing if you plan on dancing.
