\nLooking for something fun to do on Sunday? How about something fun that also benefits a great cause? On Sunday, Scottsdale’s new 5th and Wine will hosts an event for its Charity Wine & Jazz Series from 4 to 7 p.m. The series will feature live music by local jazz trios and quartets, as 50 percent of all proceeds will go to benefit Sedona Jazz on the Rocks (a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Jazz for future generations through youth education and performance programs). Plus, diners can choose from $5 glasses of wine from the Chateau Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and special jazz-inspired dishes, like braised chicken with red wine sauce and meatloaf with red wine-ketchup glaze. Diners also have the chance to be a part of a raffle with prizes being a trip for two to this year\u2019s internationally acclaimed Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Fall Festival, pairs of festival tickets, dinner and wine for eight guests at 5th and Wine, and more. http:\/\/www.5thandwine.com\/<\/a>.
\nAbout Sedona Jazz on the Rocks
\nSedona Jazz on the Rocks (SJOR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and perpetual development of Jazz through programs that develop the talents and skills of young Arizona musicians and other jazz groups, and through exposure of the public to the Jazz genre of music. Established in 1981, Sedona Jazz on the Rocks is one of the oldest and most respected Jazz festivals in the Southwest. SJOR brings in more than $3 million to the local economy each year.
