Miracle Mile Deli<\/a>, a Phoenix-based, New York-style delicatessen, has introduced three new specials this September.\u00a0Throughout September 30, diners can enjoy the Pastrami Slider Special, which features two pastrami sliders and a side for $15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Back-to-School Gift Card Deal will also be happening the entire month, which includes a $100 Miracle Mile Deli gift card for only $77; a 23 percent savings for those wanting to stock up on items. The Rosh Hashanah Special is happening September 11 and 12 and features beef brisket, a potato pancake with applesauce and sour cream, and a cup of matzo ball soup for $22.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miracle Mile Deli has served award-winning pastrami sandwiches, brisket and beef sandwiches, corned beef sandwiches and East Coast delicacies for lunch and dinner for decades. In 1949, the founder, Jack, arrived in Tucson with his family from Brooklyn. His first few days consisted of searching for a business he could purchase to support his family. After taking a bus ride to Phoenix, he saw a small restaurant across the street called Pat\u2019s Caf\u00e9. Jack ended up purchasing that caf\u00e9, now known as Miracle Mile Deli.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1965, Jack opened another location at Christown Shopping Center, which is where George, the current President at Miracle Mile, met his wife, Jill.\u00a0 George started working at Miracle Mile as a busboy at 15 years-old and worked his way to the top. George and Jill got married in 1981 and he started running the business. George and Jill’s son, Josh, oversees much of the day-to-day operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Miracle Mile tradition still continues as the Garcia family carries on the name with dignity, offering delicious food, reasonable prices and great service in a friendly atmosphere.\u00a0The deli is open Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
