Feringhee Modern Indian<\/a>, a fine dining destination in Chandler, has announced the appointment of Vikas Rana as its new head chef. A cornerstone of the restaurant since its inception, Chef Vikas was part of the original team that brought Feringhee\u2019s bold and refined vision of Indian cuisine to life. After three years of dedication and culinary innovation, he officially steps into the lead role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This transition comes with the endorsement of co-founder and Michelin-starred Chef Sujan Sarkar and founder and president Madhavi Reddy, both of whom selected Chef Vikas.<\/p>\n\n\n

Chef Vikas brings heritage, technical expertise, and global perspective to his new role. Raised in a home where food was more than nourishment, he developed an early passion for culinary craft. His journey continued internationally, cooking at high-end events and destination weddings across Italy, Austria, and Thailand. Along the way, his talents were formally recognized with a Gold Medal for Culinary Artistry by the Association of Hospitality Professionals. As Head Chef, Vikas will continue guiding Feringhee\u2019s mission to reimagine Indian cuisine with a deep sense of soul, technique, and cultural narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coinciding with this new chapter in leadership, Feringhee is also launching a brand-new weekend lunch menu, starting in mid-October. Designed to offer a more accessible way to experience the restaurant\u2019s wide-ranging flavors, the lunch menu will be available Friday through Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
