Saint Urban, Scottsdale’s newest neighborhood wine bar helmed by Chef Chris Collins and his restaurant group, Common Ground Culinary, is slated to open in November 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amid Scottsdale’s McCormick Ranch neighborhood, the wine bar will boast 30 premium rotating wines paired with a shareable menu of gourmet bar bites, charcuterie boards, sandwiches, salads and more. Named after the patron saint of wine, the establishment will be open daily for lunch at 11 a.m., happy hour from 3-6 p.m., and dinner until 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collins is behind some of the Valley’s most popular and well-known eateries, including Collins Brothers Public House, Grassroots Kitchen & Tap, and Sweet Provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Saint Urban reflects years of hard-earned knowledge serving this particular neighborhood,” Collins said. “It’s welcoming and unpretentious, perfect for romantic dates and casual hangs with friends. It’s also discerning when it comes to offering a world-class selection of wines by top West Coast producers.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The spot was designed with Jennifer Reynolds of Ideation Design Group to forge a stylish, cozy bar and patio space. Patrons can sit in ambient booths, at the granite bar top, or bask in the beautiful autumn weather on the 48-seat patio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s designed with an approachable price point that allows you to visit several times a week, no matter if you’re saddling up to the bar for a ‘girl dinner’ of truffle shoestring potatoes, a Caesar salad and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, sharing a bottle of wine and some small plates with friends, or joining us for a full chef-crafted dinner. Saint Urban brings everyone together,” Collins said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shareable dishes are an ode to the West Coast, with choices like West Coast Oysters served three ways (freshly shucked, broiled Rockefeller, supreme); The Salt Block with a selection of sushi-grade salmon, tuna, or Hamachi served with agave-ponzu redux and crispy garlic almond and wasabi peas; or BBQ tri-tip served as an entree or shaved on a sandwich bun from Noble Bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saint Urban will offer an additional menu of all-Arizona craft beers and select cocktails featuring specialty gin and tonics. Weekly specials like Thirsty Thursday will offer half-off select bottles of wine. Collins wants his newest venture to bring people back together:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“These past few years, we’ve all lost parts of ourselves and missed out on the joy of going out and sharing experiences and meals,” Collins said. “That’s what Saint Urban honors, by making it fun and affordable to get together daily for great wine and food with friends.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
