The team behind the renowned Second Story Liquor Bar is introducing a new concept at the iconic Kazimierz location in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planned to open on June 1, The Ends<\/a> invites guests to experience a restaurant celebrating the delights in life: friends, weekends and traveling to the ends of Earth, inspired by the spirit of Anthony Bourdain\u2019s food travels.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe want to bring a concept rooted in the culture of experience and travel to the beginning of The Ends,\u201d says The Ends\u2019s Owner Tommy Plato. \u201cI feel grateful for the last 10 years that the community allowed Second Story to create lifelong memories with family, friends and companions. My commitment is to continue creating a space allowing for rich life experiences over great food and drink.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spirit of keeping the community built from Second Story, current and former staff will embark on this new journey with Plato at The Ends. Former guests of Second Story will also be invited to attend private pre-opening parties ahead of the June opening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking over the space once held by low-lit bar Kazimierz, The Ends\u2019s allure will stem from a retro, airy atmosphere with a mid-century modern vibe. Plato closed Kazimierz in July 2023 for the new concept, where guests can sink into a cozy vintage ambiance at The Ends. Sleek wooden low tops and tufted bar stools complement a full-service bar highlighted with a walnut top, sure to be a central part of the room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ends will also feature an impressive collection of contemporary art by renowned artists, including Mike Wilcox, Milana Blackman, Leah Newton and local artist Lily Reeves. With the pairing of lush greenery to create an air of elegance to the space, guests are sure to experience a notable evening. The restaurant will also feature a pasta room outside the entrance where homemade pasta will hang on display, tempting food lovers to indulge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant will feature a diverse menu carefully crafted by a team of culinary experts led by Executive Chef Jordano Sessions, offering a fusion of flavors sure to transport guests across the globe. Fan favorites of Second Story\u2019s menu including \u201cLife Changing Biscuits\u201d and \u201cTomahawk Tuesdays\u201d will also be making a reappearance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests can enjoy a revolutionary dining experience in the restaurant\u2019s private dining room, The Bourdain Room, where shared family-style dining will take you on a journey through the entire menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner will be served seven days a week with happy hour from Monday to Friday and weekend brunch launching this fall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plato will also introduce Velvet Taco, a new concept from Dallas, to the former Second Story Liquor Bar and Gelato. Second Story closed its doors on May 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
