If not, head to Bomberos Caf\u00e9 &amp; Wine Bar in north central Phoenix as the first Monday of each month features guided Latin wine tastings paired with appetizers for $25 per person.<br \/>\nEvery First Monday, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the South American restaurant and wine bar will welcome notable Latin wine expert, Kim Hartleroad, to take Bomberos guests on a journey of Latin flavors with four wine pairings of South American varietals. The experience, designed to be fun and lighthearted in a casual setting, includes appetizer pairings from the restaurant\u2019s gourmet menu of artisanal meats, cheeses and bruschettas and also provides take-away tasting notes.<br \/>\nHartleroad is a trained winemaker and wine enthusiast, educator and a published wine author. He is world traveled, and tasted his first \u201cserious wine\u201d in Lima Peru before earning his certification in winemaking through the University of California at Davis extension Winemaking for Distance Learner\u2019s Viticulture program. He themes each week to keep it interesting for repeat guests and delights in providing educational and engaging presentations that combine his passions for wine and Latin cultures. \u201cWe recognized that we\u2019re the only Latin American wine bar in the Valley, so providing this type of tasting allows our guests the opportunity to expand their wine knowledge on this lesser known region,\u201d said Bomberos owner, Oscar Mastrantuono. \u201cBeing Uruguayan, I love sharing my culture with our guest through delicious food and drink, especially at affordable prices in a relaxed, neighborhood atmosphere.\u201d<br \/>\nThe First Monday wine tastings are offered at only $25 per person. Guests can\u00a0arrive any time between 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and enjoy four tastings, paired appetizers, the guided presentation and tasting notes.
