Maggiore<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/therosticceria.com\/\">The Rosticceria<\/a>, a new Italian restaurant specializing in Abruzzo-style cooking, has opened its doors in Phoenix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This newest restaurant concept by <a data-uno-hassubmittext=\"no\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maggioregroup.com\">The Maggiore Group<\/a> features a menu of wood-fired meats with an Italian twist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe inspiration for the new concept came from traveling through the Rome and Abruzzo regions with my wife, Cristina, and father, Tomaso,\u201d says Joey Maggiore, chef and co-founder of The Maggiore Group and Chef Joey Concepts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The traditional cuisine of Abruzzo, a region of Southern Italy located east of Rome, is a blend of mountain and coastal influences, featuring staples such as bread, pasta, meat, fish, cheese and wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped on the menu at The Rosticceria are the Neapolitan fried pizza, rotisserie chicken and porchetta, a savory Italian culinary tradition. Other favorite dishes include calzones, paninis and arrosticini.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those with a sweet tooth, make sure to try the restaurant\u2019s zeppole, pizzelle or Italian s\u2019mores. Guests can also enjoy a build-your-own gelato shake bar.
