Photo: Co-Media<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A brand-new series from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.co-media.co\/\">Co-Media<\/a>, in collaboration with <em>AZ Foothills<\/em>, goes behind-the-scenes of some of the most desirable culinary destinations in Arizona.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Co-Media\u2019s channel \u201cPhoenicians Getting Food\u201d, the new series &#8220;<a data-uno-hassubmittext=\"no\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoeniciansgettingfood.com\/watch\/behind-the-food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Behind The Food<\/a>&#8221; premiered August 25 and takes an in-depth look at the\u00a0culture and people who make these Valley restaurants so great.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first episode of \u201cBehind The Food\u201d covers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxrc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fox Restaurant Concepts<\/a>, one of the biggest restaurant groups in Phoenix, founded by Sam Fox in 1998. Some of Fox\u2019s most well-known restaurants include Flower Child, Culinary Dropout, Olive &amp; Ivy, Zinburger and Fox\u2019s first venture, Wildflower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the episode, Fox discusses his teams at the company and within the restaurants. \u201cI get a lot of credit for the success that we have here, but we couldn&#8217;t grow without great people and the culture and the hospitality that they provide,\u201d says Fox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PGF Presents: Behind The Food - Fox Restaurant Concepts\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ztUr_X1VDrM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The second episode features <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thespaghettishack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Spaghetti Shack<\/a>, a to-go pasta restaurant in Tempe. Opening their first location in 2022, Spaghetti Shack now has four locations across the Valley and in Pinetop. The owners focus on engaging with and supporting the community, which they achieve through their Community Partnership program. Spaghetti Shack has collaborated with other businesses and built relationships to help nonprofit organizations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe just want to be a focal point, a cornerstone of the community and provide information on what\u2019s going on and really just drive people to other people doing good work in the community,\u201d says Joey Palomarez, owner of Spaghetti Shack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PGF Presents: Behind The Food - The Spaghetti Shack\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uZaLd3-aoZI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The third episode tells the story of a Nigerian-American food truck, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lasgidicafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lasgidi Cafe<\/a>. Owner Patience Titcombe was disappointed with Phoenix\u2019s lack of diverse food options when she moved to the Valley from Philadelphia in 2016. This drove her to start making and selling her own Nigerian sauce and other food later on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt started being a little therapeutic, that just cultivated like a love, a passion,&#8221; says Titcombe. &#8220;The better that I got, the more intrigued I became around the science of food.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"PGF Presents: Behind The Food - Lasgidi Cafe\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ofhZPGgdjiw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Co-Media\u2019s debut series \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/arizonafoothillsmagazine.com\/taste\/phoenix-food-and-restaurant-news\/phoenicians-getting-food-launches-new-season\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Phoenicians Getting Food<\/a>\u201d featured Phoenix changemakers speaking to hosts while enjoying local cuisine. Getting local residents together for the series promotes community and shows support for local businesses and individuals. The series has a total of eight episodes with two seasons of four episodes each. Co-Media is an Arizona-based media company focused on telling diverse stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Season One was hosted by radio host Lady La, and Season Two was led by local food and travel influencer AZ Foodie. The hosts dine and chat with a variety of guests including former Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, Executive Director of Phoenix Fashion Week Brian Hill, artist Antoinette Cauley and radio host and
