\nStarting this Thursday evening, here are a few food-friendly events going on in the Valley this week.
\nThursday, Dec. 17: White Truffle Tasting Menu at NOCA <\/strong>Phoenix’s NOCA restaurant was supposed to host the highly anticipated White Truffle Tasting Menu on Dec. 10. However, the truffles were held up in customs (seriously!), forcing the restaurant to push back its truffle dinner.\u00a0The menu is as follows:

\nFriday, Dec. 18: Guy Fieri’s Roadshow <\/strong>This Food Network mainstay (you know him from “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” and “Guy’s Big Bite”) will take to the stage at Mesa Arts Center on Friday evening. The first-ever Guy Fieri Roadshow is\u00a0what Fieri calls a “food-apolooza.” Here’s what else Fieri had to say about his Roadshow during my phone chat with him: “If you ever come to my house, and we cook, there\u2019s friends, family and lots of good music. It\u2019s a lot of laughing. It\u2019s a lot of telling jokes, telling stories and carrying on. This is done in a wild, rock and roll style.” Sounds like a good time to us! \nSaturday, Dec. 19: Malee’s Thai Bistro Holiday Cooking Class <\/strong>One of our favorite Old Town Thai restaurants, Malee’s, will host a\u00a0 special red and green themed class featuring Drunken Dragon Wrap (made with green curry); Crispy Basil Chicken (red chilies); Spinach Chicken (red curry); and green Pandan Custard with Black Sticky rice.
