After a successful launch last year, Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week returns with even more restaurants and delicious vegan eats on September 11\u201318. The weeklong event gives diners an affordable opportunity to explore the growing plant-based scene in the Valley, while raising awareness for the vegan community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the special week, restaurants will offer an exclusive multi-course prix fixe menu or showcase a specially-priced item, allowing guests to try featured options at a fixed price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is not exclusively limited to full-service restaurants, but also welcomes casual eateries, bakeries, coffee shops, food trucks, meal delivery services, ghost kitchens and pop-up kitchens to participate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week was founded by Josh Watson of PHX Vegan and Chef Jason Wyrick of The Vegan Taste meal delivery, both long-time vegans who have worked hard in expanding the accessibility of vegan eating and showcasing the many great options the Valley has to offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLast year, Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week was so well received by the community,\u201d says Watson. \u201cEvery eatery that participated reported a significant increase in traffic during the event. This year promises to be even bigger and better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether someone has already adopted a plant-based lifestyle, is vegan-curious, or simply wants to go meatless a couple of days a week, Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week gives diners the opportunity to support small vegan businesses and try out multiple establishments at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breakfasts, which feature an entre\u00e9 and drink, will be capped at $15, and lunches, which showcase an appetizer, entre\u00e9 and drink, will be capped at $20. For dinner, guests have the option of a three-course meal for a max of $33 or a five course-meal that\u2019s no more than $44. The prix fixe menus are available for dine-in and take out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant participants already include Beaut Burger, Dilla Libre, Giving Tree Caf\u00e9, Gooder Goods, Nana\u2019s Kitchen, Pachamama, Salvadoreno Restaurant, The Vegan Taste, and Vegan & Vine. Non-vegan restaurants are also encouraged to sign-up to show off their plant-based offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
