In his new role, he will oversee the resort\u2019s five busy kitchens including the Palo Verde Restaurant, Grill Kitchen &amp; Bar, Spotted Donkey Cantina, Spa Caf\u00e9, the Discovery Lounge and Pool Pavilion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He plans to oversee the menu development and the food preparation that respects the integrity of the region by incorporating local Arizona produce and freshly foraged ingredients from the resort\u2019s own certified Organic Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Chef Drew takes much of his culinary inspiration from nature. He has even modeled the new plate design from surrounding landscape.\u00a0<\/p><cite>&#8211; <meta charset=\"utf-8\"><p>John Maskovich, Director of Food &amp; Beverage<\/p><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Chef Drew joined the Boulders culinary team in 2018 and he held titles of Executive Sous Chef, Banquet Chef, Chef de Cuisine for the Grill Kitchen &amp; Bar and the \u00a0Spotted Donkey Cantina, where he initiated the popular Tequila Dinners, Cinco de Mayo celebrations and more.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chef Drew is a native of Tucson Arizona and he has always felt at home in the Sonoran Desert. During his teenage years, he was not only a student-athlete, but also had an early affinity for the culinary arts and he credits the\u00a0FEAST program at Catalina High School that taught him about food and refining his culinary talents. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His\u00a0externship at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess included working with some of the top
