Because of this, the charitable mission behind the foundation is to provide support and promote education in the area of the culinary arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We are truly grateful for the generous outpouring of support being provided to the foundation by those who were touched by and who wish to honor the memory of our father, Tomaso.<\/p><cite>\u2013 Joey Maggiore, president of The Tomaso Culinary Arts Foundation<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Tomaso\u2019s children, Joey and Melissa, and Joey\u2019s wife Cristina will act as the directors for the new foundation. To further the foundation\u2019s mission, the board will establish a scholarship that supports students pursuing an education in the culinary arts. The selection criteria, application process and value of the scholarship awards will be announced soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We very much appreciate everyone\u2019s patience as we finalize the scholarship details. Our family and the staff of our businesses have had a lot to adjust to in the short time since his passing. However, we look forward to announcing specifics as soon as we can.<\/p><cite>\u2013 Joey Maggiore, president of The Tomaso Culinary Arts Foundation<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The foundation is established as an Arizona nonprofit corporation and is in the process of being recognized as a tax-exempt charity by the U.S. Department of Treasury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who wish to support its
