Grimaldi\u2019s Pizzeria<\/strong><\/a> and the Scottsdale Police Department are partnering for the Tip a Cop fundraiser event to support Special Olympics Arizona on Thursday, May 16, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at its three Scottsdale locations. During the event, Scottsdale police officers will trade their badges for pizza aprons and athletes from the Special Olympics will be helping Grimaldi\u2019s staff dish out pies. Donations will be accepted in any amount, all to benefit Special Olympics.<\/p>\n\n

On Wednesday, May 22, guests are invited to \u201cPaella Night\u201d at Tres Tempe Restaurant<\/strong><\/a>. Beginning at 7 p.m. diners can enjoy a dish of homemade lobster and chicken paella along with salad, cornbread and a glass of sangria for $28, while being serenaded with live music during dinner service. Reservations can be made by calling 480.897.5300 or booking online.<\/p>\n

Come celebrate five years of Southern Rail<\/strong><\/a> with Chef Justin Beckett on Thursday, May 30, from 3 p.m. to close. The event will feature raspberry rum, lemon-lime vodka and cherry cola bourbon adult sno-cones, as well as $5 food and drink specials, including Chef Beckett\u2019s signature dirty rice balls and gumbo.\u00a0<\/p>\n

True Food Kitchen<\/strong><\/a> (pictured) is hosting its spring community dinner on Tuesday, May 21, at its location in Biltmore Fashion Park, featuring dishes expertly crafted with the most colorful in-season ingredients. The four-course meal kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with an “Eat More Color” theme. Held inside the grand ballroom at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa on Thursday, May 23, the 2019 event boasts an all-star lineup of top local chefs, including founding chef and co-chair, Christopher Gross of the Wrigley Mansion. Kicking off with a gourmet cocktail reception and silent auction, the event transitions to a food-forward multi-course dinner that showcases the signature dishes and refined flavors of the host chefs.
