Enjoy happy hour pricing on drinks all day, as well as a complimentary Champagne toast and cake will be served at 6 p.m.<br \/>\nAn opening date has been set for Fox Restaurant Concepts&#8217; newest restaurant,\u00a0<strong>Doughbird. <\/strong>The fresh concept is scheduled to grand open on March 28 with a menu of house-made pizzas and rotisserie meats served with classic comfort sides and unique sauces located\u00a0on 44<sup>th<\/sup> Street and Indian School Road in Phoenix.<br \/>\nIn celebration of National Chili Day, <strong>TEXAZ Grill<\/strong> invites local at-home chefs\u00a0to submit their best chili recipes&#8211;unique dishes that incorporate chili as a featured ingredient. Cooks can submit their recipe via e-mail (<a href=\"mailto:texaz@texazgrill.com\">texaz@texazgrill.com<\/a>) or bring a printed copy into the restaurant.\u00a0The contest runs through March 31. TEXAZ Grill chef\/owner Steve Freidkin, who has served as a judge at the annual World Championship Chili Cook-off in Texas for the past 30 years, will select the winner, who will receive all-you-can-eat chili for one year (restrictions apply) at TEXAZ Grill. The winning recipe may appear on TEXAS Grill&#8217;s Specials menu.<br \/>\nOn March 9, National Crab Day, <strong>Bluewater Grill&#8217;s<\/strong> famous Maryland-style crab cakes, served with semoulade, chive oil and micro greens and typically priced at $13.50, are just $8.95 just for the holiday.<br \/>\n<strong>Cartel Coffee Lab<\/strong> fans now have even easier access to the local coffee shop&#8217;s stellar bean. The Cartel Edition subscription coffee service (pictured) is set to launch today, March 2, at 11 a.m. Available in installments every week ($22 per bag, per installment), every two weeks ($24 per bag, per installment) or every four weeks ($26 per bag, per installment) with shipping included, the carefully curated coffee beans are sourced from all over the world. The first 200 to sign on as official Cartel Edition subscribers at 11 a.m., March 2, will gain access to some special perks, in addition to a new morning pick-me-up roasted to order and shipped straight to their door within two business days. A special edition gift box bearing a custom, coffee-dyed Cartel Edition bandana, and a customized message from Paul Haworth, director of coffee productionm will accompany the 12 oz. coffee bag.<br \/>\n<strong>Clever Koi Gilbert <\/strong>is now serving brunch\u00a0every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Try the crispy duck sausage and scallion biscuit, the\u00a0Chinese chorizo burrito, the\u00a0kimchi Belgian waffle and much more.<br \/>\n<strong>Sprinkles<\/strong>\u00a0has announced the launch of its much anticipated line of cookies to its Scottsdale store\u00a0starting March 6.\u00a0A gluten-free chocolate chip cookie was added to the menu last year,\u00a0but this is the first time the full menu will be available in Scottsdale. Flavors include snickerdoodle, peanut butter pretzel chip, salted oatmeal cornflake and more.<br \/>\nThe First Tuesday of every month is Ladies Night Out at Valley <strong>The Melting Pot\u00a0<\/strong>locations. Grab your best girlfriends and enjoy a four-course meal for only $32.95 on March 7. The dinner includes a cheese fondue, a\u00a0 salad, an entr\u00e9e and a chocolate fondue. There will also be special wine and cocktail selections available as well.<br \/>\nThis year, the Scottsdale League for the Arts is moving its annual <strong>Burger Battle<\/strong> to the Scottsdale Waterfront on March 9.\u00a0The fun starts at 6 p.m. for VIP admission and at 7 p.m. for general admission. More than a dozen of the Valley\u2019s best chefs and restaurants go head to head for the title of <em>Best Burger in the Valley. <\/em>Event-goers\u00a0will enjoy tasting burger creations and voting for the best burger to bestow the People\u2019s Choice Award. A panel of culinary experts and local celebrities will taste their way through the grills and select the Judge\u2019s Choice Award winner. Two lucky chefs will win the golden ticket to compete in the World Food Championships in November. Participating restaurants include Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill, Zinburger, Aioli Gourmet Burgers, Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co,\u00a0and many more. General admission tickets are $65 during presale and $75 at the door. VIP admission is $85 and includes early entry, meet and greet with local celebrity judges, a VIP gift and access to the exclusive lounge area. All admissions to Burger Battle include all the burger tastings you can eat, ice cold beer, wine, fries, desserts, lawn games and live entertainment by the Groove Merchants.
