In another bowl, lightly beat egg yolks. Add milk,\u00a0butter and vanilla; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks\u00a0form; fold into batter. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer\u2019s directions until\u00a0golden brown. For the candy corn syrup, combine candy corn, water in a small saucepan. Bring just to a\u00a0simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently to dissolve the candy corn, but do not bring to a boil.\u00a0When the candy corn is dissolved, remove mixture from the heat. Combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon, ginger and salt in a separate bowl.\u00a0Stir into the pumpkin mixture just enough to combine. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over\u00a0medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1\/4 cup for each.\u00a0Brown on both sides.
