\nSalty Sow, Phoenix\u2019s popular gastropub, recently added a specialty Sunday brunch buffet to its already delicious menu of offerings, from\u00a010 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat medley of breakfast and lunchtime eats for $18.95 per person (and with the stocked menu, this price truly is a steal).
\nA few of our favorites on the Sunday brunch menu:
\nRosemary Honey-Dipped Fried Chicken & Waffles:\u00a0<\/strong>This fried chicken might be our new local favorite. Just a bit sticky with flavor-packed rosemary honey, the chicken is juicy and delicious. (The pieces are sized perfectly too, which is extra important in a buffet setting.)
\nBanana Chocolate Chip French Toast Bread Pudding:\u00a0<\/strong>Bread pudding is one of those hit-or-miss desserts, but this ooey gooey banana-chocolate chip variety is a keeper. The kiddos especially will love this chocolaty treat.
\nCauliflower Wild Rice Casserole:\u00a0<\/strong>We love using cauliflower in lieu of carbs, and this is a great example of how a traditional dish can be made more healthy.
\nRoast Porchetta:<\/strong>\u00a0The porchetta is\u00a0<\/strong>carved to order with arugula salad on focaccia and green herb sauce. It is juicy and tender and a nice way to make the meal\u00a0more unique, as you won’t find porchetta gracing many brunch spreads.
\nGreen Chili Pork:<\/strong>\u00a0Topped with poached eggs, it is impossible not to fill plate after plate with the green chili pork. A bit spicy and served with warm buttered tortillas, this is the perfect, cozy wintertime dish.
