Festivities include breakfast, themed cocktails, off-track betting, prizes and a live telecast on 80-plus TV&#8217;s.<br \/>\nChef Justin Beckett is unveiling <strong>Southern Rail<\/strong>\u2019s (pictured) newly revised menus. Beginning June 1, diners will be able to enjoy the restaurant\u2019s award-winning fried chicken (available during dinner service only) seven days a week along with a variety of new dishes. The start of June also marks the launch of Southern Rail\u2019s expanded Social Hour featuring $4 draft beers, select wines by-the-glass for $5, half-price select apps &amp; small plates and select housemade cocktails for $6.<br \/>\nYesterday (and through Aug. 31), <strong>Sauce Pizza &amp; Wine<\/strong> launched its Summer Sampler for $20. Choose from a variety of salads, including the limited-edition watermelon salad (under $8), a warm 12-inch pizza (under $10) and two glasses of $5 wine.<br \/>\nThe super-popular Summer Tomato Sandwich is back at <strong>Bryan\u2019s Black Mountain Barbecue<\/strong>. The sandwich features house-made molasses-dijon spread, layered with succulent summer tomatoes that have been topped with his house-smoked salt, then layered with red onion and topped with watercress.<br \/>\n<strong>Half Moon Sports Grill<\/strong> announced its Summer Burger Series, which will be featured from 11 a.m. \u2013 11 p.m. June 1 through Aug. 23 at both its Phoenix and Moon Valley locations. This new, 12-week burger series features Angus beef patties with choice of locally baked sesame seed or pretzel bun and is served with Half Moon\u2019s famous roasted garlic fries. Burger enthusiasts who dine at Half Moon weekly during the series and try every burger for 11 consecutive weeks will get their 12th week\u2019s burger for free.<br \/>\nThe summer program at <strong>J&amp;G Steakhouse<\/strong> begins on Monday, June 1 and offers diners a three-course meal off of the Sunset Menu for just $40. Additionally, The Phoenician restaurant is offering 50 percent off bottles of wine priced less than $100 every night.<br \/>\n<strong>Miracle Mile Deli<\/strong> is moving locations to its first-ever stand-alone venue on June 9. The restaurant is moving just a short distance from their current space at the Camelback Colonnade to their new venue at 4433 N. 16th Street in Phoenix, just two blocks south of Camelback Road. To celebrate the reopening, one lucky person will win free Pastrami Sandwiches for a year. Individuals can register in store, and on the Miracle Mile Facebook&lt;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/miraclemiledeli?fref=ts\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/miraclemiledeli?fref=ts<\/a>&gt; page, from June 9 through July 8. That means someone will enjoy one sandwich per week for 52 weeks. There is no purchase necessary and you can submit one entry per day.<br \/>\nFriday, June 5 is National Donut Day, and to celebrate, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/jewelsbakeryandcafe.com\/\">Jewel\u2019s Bakery and Caf\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> is celebrating with a creative twist on your everyday doughnut, with flavors like bubble gum-pink bubblegum frosting and sprinkles and Fruity Pebbles. Plus, Jewel&#8217;s is offering a buy-one-get-one-free-promotion.<br \/>\n<strong>The Food Truck Caravan<\/strong>, which is held every Saturday night from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on the northwest corner of 5<sup>th<\/sup> Ave. and Goldwater in Scottsdale is planning an Anniversary Celebration on June 6.\u00a0 The event will feature up to 15 food trucks, live music, games for children, raffle prizes, chef demonstrations, misters, comfortable seating, dining tables and the Caravan Caf\u00e9, an open air market serving specialty coffee drinks and gourmet pastry and desserts.<br \/>\nOn Sunday, June 7 at 1 p.m., <strong>Social Box Neighborhood Eatery<\/strong> hosts its Social Box Neighborhood Bash and First Annual Chili Cook Off. The summer celebration is set to include burgers and hot dogs on the grill, a chili cook off, water balloons, squirt guns, cotton candy, snow cones, games for all ages and drink specials. Entry fee for the Chili Cook Off is $20. Half of the total from entries will be awarded to the winner of the contest while the other half will be donated to a charity of Social Box\u2019s selection.<br \/>\nSalty Sow is launching new, seasonal summer happy hour specials beginning this June. From 4 to 6:30 p.m. daily, <strong>Salty Sow<\/strong> will offer $5 bites and small plate.
