If it is the latter choice, check out these Phoenix area restaurants that are hosting Turkey Day dinner, pre-holiday dining events and convenient to-go meals. (Click restaurant names for prices, full menus and to make reservations.)<br \/>\nThanksgiving dinner at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sanctuaryaz.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>elements at Sanctuary on Camelback<\/strong><\/a> (12-9 p.m.) will be a four-course New American prix-fixe feast. Beginnings include savory fall flavors like roasted butternut squash soup while entr\u00e9e selections include traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings. The resort&#8217;s The Views Ballroom (pictured) will host a gala holiday buffet featuring timeless dishes like roasted turkey and gravy, chestnut stuffing and cranberry apple relish, plus new twists like roasted loin of pork and celery root and wild rice salad. Assorted Thanksgiving desserts complete the buffet. Live music will be provided by Joe Costello. Reservations are accepted for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.<br \/>\nHead to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/wastedgrain.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wasted Grain<\/a><\/strong> for a super-fun &#8220;Twas The Night Before Thanksgiving&#8221; party\u00a0 on Wednesday, Nov. 26. There will be Ebinezer and Kush County downstairs in the main room Wasted Grain and upstairs, in the 100 Proof Lounge, enjoy Brooke B, Hemisphere, Sam Groove, and Burman for &#8220;Bass Wednesdays.&#8221; Wasted Grain hosts happy hour from 3 to 7 p.m. from the Drink Exchange which is the only guest-driven happy hour in town. (Prices decrease every five minutes.) Plus, savor s&#8217;mores for $10, perfect for a group coming in to watch a late football game.<br \/>\nNow going on its ninth year, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobbyq.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bobby Q\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> smoked turkeys are moist, flavorful and only available from Nov. 1-26. Each 12-15 pound turkey (pre-cooked weight), serves two to four people. It can be purchased a la carte for $45 or packed with a quart of mashed potatoes, a\u00a0quart of fire-roasted corn, a pint of gravy and eight cornbreads for $65. Also available by special order only will be smoked walnut stuffing and smoked turkey gravy (stuffing and gravy only available on Wednesday,\u00a0November 26). Turkey orders need to be placed a minimum of 72 hours in advance of the pick up date and re-heating instructions are provided.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.taggiascottsdale.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Taggia at FireSky Resort &amp; Spa<\/strong><\/a> is dishing up a three-course Thanksgiving meal, from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with dishes including baked ham, pumpkin pie with cinnamon-roasted grapes and more.<br \/>\nGather the whole family and head to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elchorro.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>El Chorro<\/strong> <\/a>for a special Thanksgiving Day celebration. The holiday menu offers three courses featuring both holiday classics and modern creations, including organic turkey with corn bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry chutney and sage gravy. Plus, for $15, guests with Thanksgiving Day reservations can take home one pound of organic turkey, one pound of mashed potatoes, one pound of corn bread stuffing, one quart of sage gravy and one-half quart of cranberry chutney. El Chorro\u2019s Thanksgiving Day dinner is available from 12 to 7 p.m.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lucishealthymarketplace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Luci&#8217;s Healthy Marketplace<\/strong><\/a> in Phoenix has a Thanksgiving catering menu that ranges from a complete meal for six to eight people to tasty desserts to a la carte items (like cornbread stuffing and roasted root veggies). Food is fully cooked and ready to heat and serve. Reheat times range from 30 minutes to 2 hours and recommended reheat instructions will be provided.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tapatiocliffshilton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort<\/a> in Phoenix is dishing up two ways to enjoy the holiday: over a decadent buffet (chilled seafood, turkey osso bucco, prime rib) at <strong>Different Pointe of View<\/strong> or a casual holiday feast at <strong>Pointe In Thyme.<\/strong><br \/>\nJoin <a href=\"http:\/\/www.umamitempe.com.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Umami Ramen<\/strong><\/a> in Tempe for a \u201cNightmare before Thanksgiving\u201d feast on the night before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, Nov. 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. And enjoy a ramen-filled evening before bonding with family, capped off with drink specials.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecapitalgrille.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The Capital Grille<\/strong><\/a> will be open for business from 12-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The restaurant will feature its full, a la carte dinner menu, as well as a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner entr\u00e9e option with all the trimmings and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.<br \/>\nFor the sixth year, families can prearrange to pick up their full meal at the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wildhorsepassresort.com\/\">Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort &amp; Spa<\/a><\/strong>. Eliminate the cooking and cleaning and provide a delectable feast for $249, plus tax.\u00a0 The full turkey meal, which serves six to eight people, comes prepared ready to heat and serve.\u00a0Reservations for your farm-to-table meal will be taken up to seven days in advance of Thanksgiving and must be paid in full by Friday, Nov. 21. The resort will offer a traditional four-course prix fixe Thanksgiving menu for lunch and dinner in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wildhorsepassresort.com\/dining-wild-horse-pass.html#a2\">Ko\u2019Sin restaurant<\/a> on Thursday, Nov. 27, which will be served from 12 p.m. \u2013 8 p.m.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/texazgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Texaz Grill<\/strong><\/a> will offer its chicken fried turkey with all of the fixings including mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce, starting Nov. 23 through Nov. 26, for a pre-Thanksgiving celebration.<br \/>\nAll day (11 &#8211; 1 a.m.) on\u00a0November 26, <a href=\"http:\/\/sumomaya.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SumoMaya<\/strong><\/a> in Scottsdale will host a pre-holiday fundraiser to benefit the Andre House of Arizona. For $10, SumoMaya will sell a \u201cHappy Hour Pass\u201d that will allow purchasers to enjoy happy hour pricing on food and drinks all day plus one complimentary margarita. All of the proceeds from each happy hour pass sold will be donated to Andre House. Additionally there will be $5 cocktail specials, a DJ, mariachi band and other fun surprises.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seasons52.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Seasons 52<\/strong><\/a> at Biltmore Fashion Park will be open on Thanksgiving Day.\u00a0 The restaurant will offer a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.\u00a0 A children\u2019s portion, as well as the full dinner menu, will also be available. The restaurant will serve until 8 p.m.<br \/>\nThis Thanksgiving, head to <a href=\"http:\/\/cafe-zuzu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ZuZu<\/strong><\/a> at Hotel Valley Ho and let the chefs do all the cooking. Brunch will be served from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring the regular menu along with a special smoked salmon frittata with brussels sprouts, caramelized onions, heirloom tomatoes, poached eggs and dill hollandaise. Build your own drink at the Bloody Mary + Mimosa Bar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The regular dinner menu will be served from 3 to 9 p.m., and starting at 11 a.m. you can also holiday-inspired eats.<br \/>\nOn Wednesday, Nov. 26, <a href=\"http:\/\/kellysatsouthbridge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kelly&#8217;s at SouthBridge<\/strong><\/a> in Scottsdale is the place to hang out with your friends at the restaurant&#8217;s 3rd Annual Friends-giving Party. There will be live music, drink specials and giveaways.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theboulders.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The Boulders Resort\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> signature Latilla restaurant celebrates the Thanksgiving Day holiday with a specialty four-course meal by Executive Chef, Michel Pieton. The Boulders\u2019 Grill also will be celebrating Thanksgiving offering a specialty three-course meal.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.halfmoonsportsgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill<\/strong><\/a> in Phoenix\u00a0will be open from 10 \u2013 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day offering new Thanksgiving traditions. Holiday menu items include pumpkin pie French toast, turkey, cranberry and stuffing hoagie sandwich and more.<br \/>\nDuring Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 27 through Nov. 30), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Fogo.com\/thanksgiving-feast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Fogo de Ch\u00e3o<\/strong><\/a> is introducing three Thanksgiving favorites and roasted seasonal vegetables, all of which can be enjoyed as part of the full churrasco menu. These limited-time offerings include: roasted turkey breast that\u2019s carved by gaucho chefs and drizzled with au jus sauce.<br \/>\nEnjoy an extravagant Thanksgiving brunch, dinner and Thanksgiving-to-go at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marriott.com\/hotels\/travel\/phxdr-jw-marriott-phoenix-desert-ridge-resort-and-spa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>JW Marriott Desert Ridge<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s stonegrill restaurant (10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m) and Meritage Steakhouse (4-9 p.m.).\u00a0 Savor a gourmet brunch or dinner made by the skilled culinary team at the resort with all the traditional favorites and a few twists.<br \/>\nGuests of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalpalmshotel.com\/%20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>T. Various side dishes, entrees and desserts can be combined to make a complete meal, or individual items can be purchased to supplement a home cooked dinner. The Thanksgiving meal items must be ordered and picked up on Nov. 26 at The Herb Box at Southbridge in Old Town Scottsdale.<br \/>\nThis Thanksgiving, Scottsdale\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/sapporoscottsdale.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sapporo<\/strong> <\/a>will be open from 2-8 p.m. In addition to it\u2019s traditional sushi, teppanyaki and dinner menus, the restaurant will also offer slow-braised Korean short ribs served with sweet-and-spicy barbecue sauce, a sweet potato and maple cheesecake featuring layers of cinnamon cheesecake, sweet potato spice cake topped with maple icing and toasted hazelnuts and more.
