At the event, three Valley chefs are donating a special package for the live auction portion of the night. Chef Bernie Kantak with The Gladly is donating a live auction package to the gala. It includes dinner for up to 20 couples at The Gladly with special guest, Derek Rapp, JDRF CEO. Chef Bernie  will create an exquisite four-course dinner, while a mixologist will create signature cocktails.  Dinner is on February 19, 2015. Chef Michael Cairns from the Omni Scottsdale Resort at Montelucia\u00a0 is offering a package where\u00a0 the winner can invite 30 guests to in a private dining room with appetizers and wine and a 30-minute performance by Scott Keo, a Michael Buble tribute act. Mark Tarbell&#8217;s of Tarbell\u2019s is donating dinner for four people that will include the package buyers and Frank Caliendo and his wife.<br \/>\n<strong>Sprinkles Cupcakes<\/strong> (pictured) is giving out 100 free cookies next Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 3 p.m. at its Scottsdale location. The first 100 people in line will get the free sweet treats.<br \/>\n<strong>Grimaldi\u2019s Pizzeria <\/strong>is now dishing up its November special, the buffalo chicken pizza, with Frank\u2019s Redhot, sliced celery, gorgonzola and diced marinated chicken.
