\nWe’re busy. Always. But that doesn’t mean we don’t want a homecooked-quality meal. That is where dcuisine comes into play. The company is re-imagining dinner for one or two, providing healthy, flash-frozen options for those cooking for one or two.
\nThe line all-natural frozen soups and entrees, which are made with seasonal all-natural ingredients, are targeted to unmarried, divorced or widowed singles, seniors, empty nesters and busy professionals who want convenience but still demand quality. The dcuisine meals are delivered to user’s doorstep whenever they would like, even on a weekly or monthly basis.

\nContributing to each meal’s homemade taste, dcuisine entrees and soups are not to be microwaved, instead they are to be cooked on sous-vide-style in simmering water or baked in the oven. Among the list of meals, dcuisine users can choose from Pacific seafood stew, Nonna’s meatballs in marinara sauce, chicken pot pie, country meatloaf and much more. During our taste test, we were super-impressed with the creamy butternut squash soup. The soup is a puree of roasted California butternut squash, sweet potatoes and parsnips, finished with a touch of cream and tarragon. The result is super-flavorful and velvety smooth. The perfect autumn soup. Another favorite was the filling, hearty beef short ribs (pictured). The dish features beef, that is hormone- and antibiotic-free, in reduced Burgundy wine, Yukon Gold potatoes, carrots, roasted mushrooms and pearl onions.
