Try the TEXAZTINI, made with Texas\u2019 own Tito\u2019s Handmade Vodka, a touch of dry vermouth and a pickled okra spear and TEXAZ red chilli.<br \/>\n<strong>Second Story Liquor Bar<\/strong> in Scottsdale has debuted Whiskey School Wednesdays. Each evening class will consist of history, a tasting session with food pairings, and a group discussion over different brands, styles, and expressions.\u00a0 All the classes will have an open curriculum so the students will decide where the journey will turn. The classes are headed up by John Christie, who has been making cocktails for 20-plus years.<br \/>\nAt <strong>LON&#8217;s at the Hermosa Inn<\/strong> (pictured) on Oct. 23, join Lisa Peju of Peju Province Winery in Napa, for the first in the restaurant&#8217;s series of pop-up wine dinners. Guests of this exclusive reception and four-course dinner will get a chance to mingle with Lisa, the eldest daughter of Peju co-founders Tony and HB Peju, who handles all marketing and public relations for the family business, in addition to meeting with retailers and being a brand representative at trade and consumer events around the globe. Space is limited both nights; call 928.637.6813 to reserve.<br \/>\n<strong>Bink&#8217;s Scottsdale<\/strong> will celebrate the &#8220;Champagne of Italy&#8221; during its first fall wine dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6:30 p.m. This four-course, dining event is $85 per person, and will feature Italian sparkling wines from the Ca&#8217; Del Bosco winery, located in northern Italy. Chef Kevin Binkley will prepare fresh seafood and fowl, including salmon caviar, cod, and duck breast.
