To make a reservation for the 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. seating, call Proper Tucson at 520.396.3357.<br \/>\nSept. 5 is National Cheese Pizza Day, and <strong>Grimaldi\u2019s<\/strong> is debuting their seasonal Quattro Formaggio Cheese Pizza this month. The thin crust pizza is topped with melted Romano, Gorgonzola, Parmesan and Asiago cheeses. With September being Hunger Awareness Month, guests who dine in at any Arizona Grimaldi\u2019s Pizzeria location through the month of September will be able to donate to the charity No Kid Hungry. In return, guests will receive $5 to Grimaldi\u2019s Pizzeria for every $5 donated. All of the proceeds raised will benefit No Kid Hungry.<br \/>\nOn Sept. 6 and 7,the <strong>Musical Instrument Museum<\/strong> invites guests to \u201cExperience Italy\u201d in honor of the museum\u2019s new exhibit that showcases the rich heritage of violin makers from the city of Cremona, Italy. Guests will live \u201cla dolce vita\u201d at MIM with live musical performances, an Italian-inspired menu at Caf\u00e9 Allegro, wine sampling, gallery talks and hands-on activities for all ages.<br \/>\nArea codes \u2013 312 from Chicago and 602 from Arizona \u2013 figure prominently at <strong>Half Moon Sports Grill in Moon Valley and Half Moon Windy City Sports Grill<\/strong> at the Biltmore this football season. Specials include $10 large Chicago-style cheese pizzas with thin cracker crust, $4 San Tan Brewing Company and Four Peaks Brewing Company beers and much more.<br \/>\nChef Kevin Binkley and Executive Chef Christopher Wolf (pictured) of the Arizona Culinary Institute will host a special six-course dinner at <strong>Binkley&#8217;s Restaurant<\/strong> on Wednesday, Sept. 10. The open seating event runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Cost is $98 with wine accompaniments available for $50. The six-course, seafood-driven menu follows Chef Wolf&#8217;s culinary career and his favorite flavor profiles, all with a Binkley twist. The evening will also include multiple amuse-bouche. To RSVP, call 480.437.1072.<br \/>\nThe Italian Association (a local private nonprofit) is hosting the first ever <strong>&#8220;The Best of Italy&#8221;<\/strong> event in Scottsdale on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Courtyard Marriott Salt River. The event will feature top Italian chefs and Italian wineries in the Valley. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. people will be able to drink delicious wine, taste some savory bites and experience live entertainment.
