\nIt\u2019s hot. Very hot. Looking to escape the heat\u2013and taste some top-notch wines, to boot? Get to Cottonwood this weekend, June 21, as Page Springs Cellars hosts Tilted Earth Wine & Music Festival.
\nAt the stunning Riverfront Park from noon to midnight, Tilted Earth Wine & Music Festival will give guests the chance to enjoy specialty selections from 16 Northern Arizona wineries (wineries include Alcantara Vineyards, Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Burning Tree Cellars, Cellar 433\/Bitter Creek\/Jerome Winery, Chateau Tumbleweed, Dektown Cellars, Freitas Vineyard, Fire Mountain\/Cellar Dwellers, Gallifant Cellars, Grand Canyon Winery, Javelina Leap, Oak Creek Vineyards and Winery, Page Springs Cellars, Passion Cellars, Pillsbury Wine Company and Stage Stop Vineyards), delicious cuisine from six gourmet food trucks, massages by Page Springs Massage and Yoga, a raffle benefiting the Verde Valley Teen Center, complimentary kid-friendly fun including face painting and sumo suit wrestling, and a live music line-up from seven artists and bands, including Canadian headliner, Bruce Cockburn.
\nTickets can be purchased at store.pagespringscellars.com<\/a> for $45 in advance or $50 at the door on the day of the festival. (A portion of the proceeds from from the event will go to the Verde Valley Teen Center to create and sustain youth programs that empower teens in Cottonwood and the Verde Valley to lead successful lives as individuals and community members.) Admission includes a reusable Govino wine glass and five free tastings, along with all kids activities and access to live music. Guests who purchase tickets ahead of June 21 will also receive a bottle of Page Springs Vina del Barria Blanca at no extra charge. Wines can be purchased from any of the participating wineries. Children 12 and under are free.
