Executive Chef Michael Bouwens of the Valley&#8217;s Roaring Fork restaurant has whipped up a recipe to use eggnog in a unique way&#8211;in a tres leche cake. Enjoy!<br \/>\n<strong>Eggnog Tres Leche<\/strong><br \/>\nYield: 12<br \/>\n10 each eggs<br \/>\n2 cups of sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd cup of water<br \/>\n2 cups of cake flour<br \/>\n2 teaspoons of baking powder<br \/>\n(for the milks)<br \/>\n2 cans of sweet condensed milk<br \/>\n2 cans of evaporated milk<br \/>\n1 \u00bd cups of heavy cream<br \/>\n1 \u00bd cups of eggnog<br \/>\n<em>1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 2. Mix eggs and sugar on high speed for 10 minutes or until thick and lemon color<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 3. Add water and mix 5 minutes more<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 4. Sift dry ingredients and gently fold into eggs<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 5. Pour into greased 12 hotel pan and bake for 20 minutes or until done<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 6. Remove from the oven and let cool<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 7. Add all ingredients for the milks together in a separate bowl<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 8. Prick holes all over the cake with a toothpick and pour the 3 milks over and let it absorb all the milks<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 9.
