\nOld Town Scottsdale has yet another amazing addition to its dining lineup, EVO. EVO features a menu of light Italian dining, with pizzas, salads, small plates (including house-made pasta, seafood and meat dishes), elegant desserts, can’t-miss cocktails and more. The atmosphere is just as notable. The dark, romantic space is accented with Baroque-inspired chandeliers and an eye-catching wall of uniquely shaped mirrors. There is also a large bar area for more casual diners and a intimate patio that is perfect for soaking up the fall season–with white twinkle lights, to boot.
\nThe best way to enjoy a meal at EVO is to order several dishes and share. A great way to start is ordering up the polpettina<\/em> (house-made meatballs) and the EVO salad. The meatballs are decadent and delicious (and the perfect item to sample alongside wine and some garlic bread for a light after-work meet-up with pals). The EVO salad is something to rave about. It is a slightly sweet heap of crispy brussels sprouts and kale, chunks of bosc pear, ch\u00e9vre, bits of pancetta, balsamic and pine nuts. So delish. And the waitstaff says this salad will actually keep–unlike most salads–for delicious leftovers.

\nDevote at least one course to EVO’s home-made pasta. The Bolognese, with perfectly al dente pappardelle pasta, is the way to go. Split a bowl before digging into a main course. The lobster risotto is a delicious main course, with creamy risotto and large chunks of lobster. The roasted chicken is juicy, crispy and flavorful and paired alongside grilled raddichio, roasted garlic pan sauce and fingerling potatoes.
\nFor dessert, the warm, fresh-from-the-fryer zeppolini<\/em> simply melt in your mouth.
