Finally, the temps start to make their way back into the double digits and we can make use of the Valley&#8217;s lovely outdoor dining patios. The start of fall is especially something to celebrate when our favorite Valley restaurants unveil their fall menus, as is the case with North Scottsdale&#8217;s Sassi, which just debuted its fall bill of fare. A few dishes to check out:<br \/>\n<em>Salad of roasted baby beets with gorgonzola panna cotta, spicy citrus glaze and pistachio tuile.<\/em> A delicious way to ease out of the summer with refreshing flavors, like the citrus glaze, but lots of fall influence.<br \/>\n<em>Butternut squash risotto with sage brown butter, mascarpone and crispy pancetta.<\/em> Butternut squash is a beloved fall ingredient, especially when paired with rich sage brown butter.<br \/>\n<em>Grilled duck breast with butternut squash caponata and cinnamon olive oil.<\/em> Doesn&#8217;t get much more &#8220;fall&#8221; than cinnamon olive oil.<br \/>\n<em>Lamb Due Sapore with braised lamb shoulder, wood-grilled rib chops and pistachio salsa verde.<\/em> Super-meaty, this combo of lamb and ribs is a wonderfully hearty and warming intro to the season.<br \/>\n<em>Roasted butternut squash hazelnuts with spicy agro dolce and mint.<\/em> Regardless of what main entree your order, this side of roasted butternut squash is the quintessential fall dish.<br \/>\nOn the cocktail list, try the <em>Fall Pear Martini<\/em>, a refreshing concoction of pear vodka, Cocchi Americano and St. Germain.<br \/>\nFor the complete menu or to make reservations, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sassi.biz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.sassi.biz<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The start of fall is always something to celebrate in the Valley.
