Priced at $50 and serving two people, this 10-course menu serves small, sampler-sized portions of the new menu\u2019s additions, including shrimp papaya salad tossed with greens in a honey-lime dressing; pork loin served with tamarind mol\u00e9; and Pechuga Rellena, a grilled chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and Huitlacoche served over a chipotle tomato sauce. Plus, a selection of cocktails\u00a0are only $5 each.<br \/>\nFriday is National Bratwurst Day, and Scottsdale&#8217;s <strong>Brat Ha\u00fcs<\/strong> is getting in on the celebration. Brat Ha\u00fcs will be giving away free mini brat \u201csliders\u201d all day and cooking a 50-ft. brat at 6 p.m. with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the ALS Association of Arizona. Each inch of the huge brat will be $1 so the more you eat, the more money is raised.<br \/>\n<strong>Different Pointe of View<\/strong> at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs has announced its \u201cBeat the Heat\u201d prix-fixe menu for $39.95. The menu features favorites like lobster bisque, grilled Cedar River marinated hanger steak and classic Tahitian vanilla bean cr\u00e8me brulee. And&#8211;for those mid-week visitors&#8211;a complimentary glass of wine will be available to enjoy with the menu.<br \/>\nThrough Sept. 8, <strong>Gordon Biersch<\/strong> is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the launch of a small plates menu (Gordon Biersch dishes starting at $4.50) and a special beer Blonde Bock which was one of the original brews served.
