Those who love food, wine and a major dose of luxury, you’ll want to pay attention: Omni Hotels & Resorts and FOOD & WINE will host a three-day culinary experience devoted to the Rioja region of Spain during the Discover Rioja Weekend next month at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia.
The all-inclusive weekend taking place Sept. 8-10 will include tastings, a cooking demonstration, a tapas crawl, and a five-course, wine-paired dinner, with a focus on fare from Rioja. FOOD & WINE’s Executive Wine Editor, Ray Isle, Omni Montelucia Executive Chef Marcos Seville and celebrity chef Katie Button, owner of Cúrate Tapas Bar and Nightbell restaurant in Asheville, N.C., will host the weekend events.

7 p.m.: Welcome reception with cooking demonstration, tapas and wine tasting in the intimate Chef’s Kitchen hosted by FOOD & WINE Editor Ray Isle and Celebrity Chef Katie Button
Saturday, September 9
11 a.m.: Wine-paired lunch and wine seminar hosted by FOOD & WINE Editor Ray Isle and Executive Chef Marcos Seville
2 p.m.: Self-guided tapas crawl and tasting tour of pop-up food and wine shops throughout the resort
7 p.m.: Cocktail Reception
8 p.m.: Five-course dinner hosted at Prado, featuring celebrity chef Katie Button
Sunday, September 10
9 a.m.: Rosé Brunch hosted by Executive Chef Marcos Seville in the Camelback Presidential Suite
