If you love gorging yourself with Ben & Jerry’s famous ice cream as much as I do (Cherry Garcia, always and forever), you’ll be excited to know that the brand has launched a new summer flavor, Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road. That name should sound familiar; it is inspired by Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and sales from the limited-time flavor will benefit Elton John Aids Foundation with one hundred percent of proceeds donated to the cause. The Elton John Aids Foundation supports innovative HIV prevention programs, efforts to eliminate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, direct care and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
As for the ice cream, Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road is made with chocolate ice cream, peanut cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chunks. You can find it at Ben & Jerry’s, located at el Pedregal Shops in North Scottsdale, through July. 34505 N. Scottsdale Rd., Box 8, Scottsdale, 480.488.0873, http://www.benjerry.com/.
