Located in Downtown Phoenix, the hotel is introducing their latest exhibitions on display for Art Detour 30 Weekend, a celebration of community and cultural artistry, taking place March 16-18.<\/p>\n

\u201cArt Detour is the perfect time to present new art throughout the FOUND:RE,” says\u00a0Michael\u00a0Oleskow, FOUND:RE\u2019s cultural curator. \u201cWe are excited about the new artists joining us this year, as well as the artists who are returning with new works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dave Diaz, Debris by the Sea<\/em><\/h2>\n

Dave Diaz’s first ever exhibit Debris by the Sea<\/em>, will be found in the hotel’s lobby and will showcase his resin sculptures created from the self-described “trash” left behind by surfboard makers. Diaz then turns the colorful hardened leftover resin into repurposed masterpieces, each requiring hundreds of hours of grinding, chiseling, filing, sanding and polishing. The end result is an ultra-smooth piece. Diaz’s work will be displayed March 16-18 for the special Art Detour 30 exhibition.<\/p>\n

Niki Woehler<\/h2>\n

Taking over FOUND:RE’s entire gallery space, Niki Woehler’s art is inspired by nature. A mix of abstract acrylic and mixed media on canvas and resin on panel, her prior works have been featured in group shows like 9 The Galley, Deck’d and Sisao, which benefit 10 local Arizona charities. Woehler’s work will be featured at the hotel through May.<\/p>\n

Ronna Nemitz, Life Is Infinite<\/em><\/h2>\n

Returning to The Box for a second year in a row by request is artist Ronna Nemitz with her new installation titled Life Is Infinite<\/em>. Nemitz’s art includes public and gallery installations that involve people, photography, sculptural elements and her signature neon lighting. Find The Box on the Northeast corner of the hotel, available for viewing at all times. Nemitz’s\u00a0work will be featured through May.<\/p>\n

INFOCUS Members<\/h2>\n

The INFOCUS Members exhibition can still be viewed at The Studio through March 30 and features photography art by INFOCUS, a Phoenix Art Museum group that promotes and supports the Arizona photography community. This display gives photographic artists an opportunity for additional publicity by way of the Viewer’s Choice Award. The INFOCUS Members exhibition can be viewed through March 30.<\/p>\n
