What was once a quiet hideaway for silver miners, Hotel Jerome soon transformed into a luxury retreat for artists and screen stars of the 40\u2019s to hippies and musicians of the 70\u2019s and the founding site of many things like the Aspen Skiing Company and the Aspen Music Festival and School.
