Happy 3oth birthday to one of our favorite Valley resorts! The Fairmont Princess<\/a> has been a staple in the Scottsdale area for years, and we are excited to share with you all of the festivities they are having through Labor Day to celebrate 30 years, and many more to come.<\/p>\n

Mermaid Fun<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mermaid University is back to share its fin-tastic fun with kids ages 7-12. Kids will love playing with the resort’s resident mermaid, Moon, and her sister, Misty Mermaid.<\/p>\n

But this year, we are expanding the mermaid fun to grown-ups too. The resort is now offering a Mermaids & Mai Tai’s class everything first Saturday of the month at the spa’s rooftop pool.<\/p>\n

Futuristic Fun<\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrating the past, but also looking forward to the future, the Princess will be throwing Techno Glo pool parties featuring fog, lasers, LED hula hoops and live music from DJ Splash, as well as this year’s introduction of the interactive Techno-Bot siblings, Beta and Blast.<\/p>\n

Trailblazers Kids Club and Recreation Center will be the hot spot for kids with its new BEAM interactive floor playground and virtual reality fun that will take guests on roller coaster rides.<\/p>\n

The Techno-Bot siblings, Beta and Blast, along with the resort’s puppy ambassadors, Bixby and Gibbs, will be welcoming resort guests. Cecil, the resort’s desert tortoise, will also be around to greet.<\/p>\n

Relax at the Spa<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well & Being Spa will be the favorite spot of adults looking for a break from the daily life. In addition to treatments, the spa is also offering classes such as Float Fit paddleboard yoga at the rooftop pool.<\/p>\n

The Princess thinks fireworks should happen every summer weekend, not just on the 4th of July. Thus, they will be shooting them off every Saturday night, with longer displays on holiday weekends.<\/p>\n
