The holiday season is in full swing at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale. The resort is featuring a variety of holiday activities for all ages to enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Westin Kierland is thrilled to bring back its incredible 3-D Holiday PaintScaping show that has wowed guests in the past. With this show, the exterior walls of the resort are transformed into canvases for holiday-themed 3-D images and animations and are set to holiday music. The resort describes PaintScaping as a merge of the \u201cvirtual world with the existing world by projecting 3-dimensional digital mapping onto buildings that act as the canvas for characters, colors, and objects as living and moving parts of the facade.\u201d Wow!<\/span><\/p>\n

The PaintScaping takes place every night through December 31 at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8 p.m. There is no charge for the show and it is open to the public.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you arrive early, you can catch the resort\u2019s nightly bagpiper play some holiday tunes at 5 p.m. while enjoying the beautiful views and a drink. <\/span><\/p>\n

For a more adult activity, join The Westin Kierland for their \u201cHoliday Cocktails with Matt\u201d featuring the resort\u2019s mixologist Matt Allen. This event is a one-hour class that teaches guests how to create holiday cocktails to take their holiday parties to the next level. All ingredients will be provided and the cocktails that will be taught are Rudolph the Red Nosed Mule, The Poinsettia, and the Gingerbread House.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHoliday Cocktails with Matt\u201d will occur on December 10 and December 17 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. The class is $60 per person and includes light appetizers and the mixed drinks. In addition, guests will get their very own cocktail shaker, recipe cards, and a coupon for a return visit to the resort.<\/span><\/p>\n
