It is the largest privately-owned island in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>The island consists of 681 acres of undisturbed land, covered with tropical foliage, native fruit trees, and gently rolling hills that border pristine white sand beaches.<\/p>\n<p>The property also includes a 5,000-square-foot main house and a private airstrip with its own airport code. Adjacent to the house is undeveloped land, inviting the buyer to either expand the home or build a new guest house.<\/p>\n<p>Managing Broker Tod Christensen of Russ Lyon Sotheby\u2019s International Realty says agent Steve Donovan, who works out of the Sedona office, represented the buyer in the transaction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSteve has decades of experience in selling beach and exotic island properties in the Caribbean,\u201d said Christensen. \u201cOver many years, he has developed a sterling reputation as someone who helps clients who want privacy and seclusion in a home. For buyers who seek those qualities, Steve can help them find their ideal property all across the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Christensen says islands, especially ones that are as rustic as Innocence Island, are not offered for sale very often.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinding an island for sale in the Bahamas is very rare, let alone a property like this that is in such pristine environmental condition,\u201d said Christensen.<\/p>\n<p>Christensen calls the island sale a dream come true for the buyer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is not a lot of development on Innocence Island so this island is exactly what the buyer wanted. Our buyer pursued the sale aggressively, and exudes an adventurous spirit.
