W Scottsdale<\/a> is giving guests a new way to work movement and wellness into their stay with the debut of its newly transformed FIT fitness center. The revamped space has more than doubled in size, expanding from approximately 800 to 1,700 square feet and adding an indoor-outdoor workout area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cW Scottsdale has always evolved alongside the way our guests travel, and wellness is an increasingly important part of that experience,\u201d General Manager David Cronin said. \u201cThe new FIT reflects that evolution with a larger, more elevated space, modern technology and an energizing environment that brings the dynamic spirit of W Scottsdale into the fitness experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fitness center features an open layout filled with natural light, with areas for cardio, strength, functional training, stretching and recovery. Retractable nano doors connect the indoor space to a new 250-square-foot outdoor workout area, allowing guests to move their workouts outside when the weather cooperates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, the fitness center is equipped with Technogym equipment, including the SkillRun Live 5000, Technogym Bike and Excite+ collection. Technogym Live Premium also gives guests access to trainer-led workouts, on-demand classes and personalized training programs based on individual goals and fitness levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIT is open 24 hours a day. New LED lighting, flooring and custom millwork give the space a more energetic feel, while the outdoor area provides additional room for stretching, free weights and open-air workouts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outdoor fitness area opens directly onto W Scottsdale\u2019s WET Deck. The space will also be used for fitness programming, including group classes, as W Scottsdale introduces new opportunities for hotel guests and locals to get involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because working out in Arizona comes with its own considerations, the FIT team monitors the space daily and adjusts the indoor-outdoor setup based on weather and temperature. Guests can also find chilled towels, fresh apples and a water filtration system available throughout the fitness experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new FIT complements the wellness offerings at AWAY Spa. Along with massages, body treatments, facials and IV therapy, the spa features Arizona\u2019s first AI-powered Aescape massage experience. With access to FIT, guests can now incorporate movement into their visit before or after a spa treatment.
