Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows<\/a> marks National Honey Month with a curated lineup of honey-inspired specialty menus, spa treatments and programming featuring honey harvested straight from the resort\u2019s own on-site beehives.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort\u2019s connection to its natural surroundings created a partnership with urban beekeeping company Alv\u00e9ole<\/a>. The hive produces raw honey that is used year-round throughout the spa and at the resort\u2019s signature restaurant, West & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen, with limited-time offerings available through September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From breakfast to dessert, the key ingredients run through the kitchen\u2019s seasonal menu. Morning visitors can order the Honey Glazed Donut with Citrus Pastry Cream and Honey Oat Shaken Espresso. In the evening, their cocktail menu features both honey and floral flavors with items like the Lavender Bee, the Buzzy Bee and Honey, I\u2019m Home, all served alongside complimentary honey-roasted peanuts at the bar. The limited menu closes on a rich note with the Burnt Honey Gelato with Freeze Dried Honey & Toffee Bits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The culinary program also added two ticketed events to this month’s calendar: Hot Honey Happy Hour and Honey & Vine Wine Dinner.\u00a0From 4-6 p.m., Weft & Warp’s happy hour will serve hot honey fried chicken with chiltepin hot honey, house pickle and aioli paired with Frites Street cottage fries, alongside live music for Hot Honey Happy Hour. There will be a pop-up with Alv\u00e9ole sharing info about honeybees and the beehive. Tickets are $15.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

The September 30 wine dinner takes place 5:30-8 p.m. Guests can expect a five-course tasting menu tracing honey through its many forms with items like beef & burrata finished with a delicate honey tuile and paired with a Terre Br\u00fbl\u00e9e Chenin Blanc from Swartland, South Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bluefin with burnt honey-chili crunch and puffed rice, paired with Blossom Fury Riesling will be followed by rosemary honey-cured duck confit with white bean cassoulet and a glass of Sokol Blosser Estate Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley, Oregon. The night will conclude with a seven-day honey cured wagyu with celery root and turnip, paired with a Robert Craig La Fleur Craig Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma, California, and a honey cake alongside a Royal Tokaji Red Label 5 Puttonyos Tokaj from North Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The honey program moves into Palo Verde Spa & Apothecary, known for their treatments inspired by native ingredients. For limited time in September you can indulge in the Just Bee Massage, a 60- or 90-minute classic swedish-style massage with floral milk and honey scents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bee Natural Facial, a 60-minute experience for $210, is designed to improve skin tone and texture ending with a moisturizing honey lip butter. The Meant to Bee Scrub, a $60 minute appointment for $225 includes a full-body granule scrub followed by a citrusy orange whipped body butter; the Bee You Mani\/Pedi is a pampering service with mink-and-honey aromatherapy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
