This fall, The Phoenician<\/a> and The Canyon Suites<\/a> are casting a spell of elegance and eerie excitement over the Sonoran Desert with the debut of their first-ever \u201cCurse of Camelback\u201d Halloween celebration. Running from October 30 through November 2, 2025, the resort will undergo a chilling transformation into a haunted haven, inviting guests to a curated lineup of spooky, family-friendly fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests booking accommodations during this festive weekend will enjoy an elevated experience, with overnight stays enhanced by a $200 nightly resort credit to use toward dining, drinks, and a variety of exclusive resort activities. (Reservations must use Rate Code ES7.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cScottsdale has been celebrated as a desert escape for luxury and leisure, and this year we\u2019re adding a new twist with the launch of the Curse of Camelback,\u201d Resort Manager Lisa Mercer said. \u201cWe wanted to create a tradition that combines spirited fun with the sophisticated experiences that define the resort.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the four-day event, there will be a blend of themed dining, live entertainment, and hands-on activities designed to thrill all ages. Among the highlights is a haunted twist on the resort\u2019s signature tea service. \u201cAn Afternoon Tea to Die For\u201d will be served October 30 through November 2, with a ghoulish spread of pastries, scones, and savory treats in a refined yet spooky setting. On Halloween night, The Phoenician Tavern becomes the site of \u201cHalloween on the Green,\u201d where guests will enjoy live \u201cMonster Mash\u201d dueling pianos, a scaricature artist, and festive photo ops. Meanwhile, The Thirsty Camel Lounge transforms into \u201cA Wicked Affair,\u201d featuring an evening of costume contests, tarot and palm readings, spooky backdrops for photos, and live music by a trio, with reserved fire-pit seating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families staying at the resort can partake in the Boo Bash Family Party, a complimentary event featuring photo stations and a \u201cdance-along\u201d with an enthusiastic \u201cWednesday\u201d character. The Boo Bash runs on October 31 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For even more frightful fun, guests can take on Monstrous Mini Golf – an 18-hole challenge on the East Lawn – on November 1, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Guests can also explore the darker side of fine beverages with experiences like \u201cCursed Grounds, the Art of Coffee\u201d at The Marketplace on Thursday at 1 p.m., followed by \u201cEclipse of the Oak\u201d bourbon tasting at The Phoenician Tavern at 3:30 p.m. Friday brings \u201cCurse of the Cellar\u201d wine tasting at J&G Steakhouse at 4:30 p.m., followed by \u201cJust Here for the Boos\u201d mixology session at Mowry & Cotton at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
