Autumn in the desert is about to get a whole lot more magical. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess<\/strong> is bringing back its beloved Pumpkin Fest<\/a><\/strong>, a fan-favorite celebration that transforms the resort into a harvest wonderland. The event returns on September 13<\/strong> and runs through October 31, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spread across 224,000 square feet, Pumpkin Fest is packed with fall-themed activities, dazzling lights, and family-friendly entertainment. From carnival rides and pumpkin patches to spooky animatronics and festive food, the event captures the essence of autumn. Resort and dining guests can enjoy complimentary transportation aboard the Ghost Light Express<\/strong>, a themed train ride that adds an extra touch of enchantment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the immersive areas featured this year is The Patch<\/strong>, a lively setting with countless photo ops, themed characters, and signature attractions like the Pumpkin Bounce Pad, Global Swings, Pumpkin Twirl, Buggy Ride, and Mineral Creek Mining Co. The Jack-O-Lantern Lawn<\/strong> is a cozy spot to unwind and refuel, where fire tables, food trucks, a tap van, and the cleverly named Spook Easy<\/strong> bar create a festive vibe. Watch out for spooky animatronics, including favorites like Willa Willow Witch and Blaemire the Brimstone Dragon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Cider Orchard<\/strong>, guests can explore attractions designed for all thrill levels, from mild to mildly spooky. Character Pip Applewick leads the way through a 4,200-square-foot hay maze and carnival rides. Over in Harvest Grove <\/strong>and the Spookeasy<\/strong>, fire tables provide the perfect setting for making s\u2019mores. Menu items like short rib pot pie, bison chili, and chicken schnitzel bites satisfy more adventurous appetites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since we last held the event in 2021, each fall we have had guests asking for it to come back, so we listened to them,” Regional VP and General Manager Jack Miller said. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to create a magical atmosphere in the heart of the desert where families and guests can come together to celebrate the season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pumpkin Fest also highlights a spirit of giving. Each week, a different charity will be spotlighted, including St. Mary\u2019s Food Bank, Fiesta Sports Foundation, and The Thunderbirds. Additionally, a $5,000 donation will be made to Wishes For Teachers, reinforcing the resort\u2019s commitment to community support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Themed discount nights will run weekly: Educators Night<\/strong> on Mondays (use code Teachers<\/em>), First Responders Night<\/strong> on Tuesdays (use code Responder<\/em>), and Healthcare Workers Night<\/strong> on Wednesdays (use code Healthcare<\/em>).
