Since opening in 1939 in the heart of the Dolomites, Rosa Alpina has remained a beloved fixture on the social scene. To elevate its luxury status, the Pizznini family partnered with Aman, enlisting their renowned designer Jean Michel Gathy \u2013 also behind the transformation of Aman New York in the Crown Building. The renovation focuses on spaciousness, reducing room numbers to just 50 to create more expansive accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them, the Chalet Zeno stands out: a secluded, 3,000-square-foot sanctuary for six. In winter, guests can access nearly 750 miles of ski slopes, while summer brings hiking, biking, and climbing across stunning mountain terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the hotel will reopen following a comprehensive renovation that promises to revitalize the 105-room property. This historic property remains a favorite of the Oetker family, whose global luxury hotel empire began with this very purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Britannic Explorer<\/strong><\/a>: United Kingdom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belmond, known for its retro-glam sleeper trains, is expanding its collection with the Britannic Explorer, the first luxury sleeper train in England and Wales. Offering three distinct, three-night journeys from London, guests can choose to explore Cornwall\u2019s rugged coast, the Lake District’s tranquil beauty, or Wales’s wild landscapes. Days are filled with curated excursions, while evenings are dedicated to socializing and sleeping aboard. Built in 1112 as a fortified manor, the property boasts nearly a thousand years of history. With a lack of high-end accommodations in the area, Dupr\u00e9 is setting out to change that by transforming the estate into a 37-room hotel near Pommard, famous for its Pinot Noir. Among the updates is a bar housed in a 14th-century tower, alongside two new restaurants featuring the talents of award-winning chef Christophe Raoux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corinthia Bucharest<\/strong><\/a>: Bucharest, Romania<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Corinthia brand began as a luxury hotel in Attard, Malta, before expanding with a satellite property in central London. The Pisani family is ambitiously pursuing global growth, adding new locations worldwide while maintaining their signature attention to detail and world-class spa offerings. Set on 620 acres, this property, scheduled to open late next year, will be located near the ruins of the Oracle of Amun. Next summer, andBeyond will open a new 14-tent lodge on the 44,000-acre Suyian Conservancy, allowing guests to see rare species like Gr\u00e9vy\u2019s zebra and reticulated giraffes. The lodge will also offer immersive experiences with communities, including the Samburu and Pokot pastoral tribes, and a chance to explore the diverse landscapes, from open savannah to dense acacia woodlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
