Below are the ten best airports in the world for 2023, according to a recent study by aviation industry experts Cabin Crew HQ<\/a>, which ranked 30 of the busiest airports in the world based on the number of delays, parking prices, drop-off costs and the selection of restaurants and shops.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Tokyo International (Haneda) Airport, Japan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tokyo International (Haneda) Airport in Japan ranks first with the highest final score of 80. It has an impressive on-time flight average of 88.4% and a high number of restaurants and shops available for flyers. Parking fees are relatively low at $34.9 and there is no fee for drop-offs. The passenger count in 2022 was 50,290,705.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport ranks second with a final score of 75.18. It has the highest passenger count on the list (93,699,630) and its average on-time flights are slightly lower than Tokyo\u2019s at 78.4%. The parking fee is $98 and the cost for drop-off is $5. The airport offers 159 restaurant selections and 113 shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Chicago O\u2019Hare International Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

O\u2019Hare International Airport ranks third with a final score of 71.04. Its on-time flight average is 77.2% and it has a passenger count of 68,340,619. The parking fee is lower at $56 and there are no drop-off fees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico \u201cLic. Benito Ju\u00e1rez\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico \u201cLic Benito Ju\u00e1rez\u201d ranks fourth with a final score of 69.82. While its on-time flight average (72%) is lower than the top three\u00a0 airports, it stands out for having the highest number of restaurants and shops available out of the 30 airports. Flyers can choose from 168 restaurants and a whopping 226 shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Dallas\/Fort Worth International Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dallas\/Fort Worth International Airport ranks fifth with a final score of 67.59. Its on-time flight average is 75%, which is slightly below that of the top three airports. The parking fee is $105, however drop-off costs are lower at $2. Dallas\/Ft Worth International Airport\u2019s passenger count is higher than that of the No.1 ranking airport with 73,362,946 passengers in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. George Bush Intercontinental Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston ranks sixth with a final score 67.49. Despite having the second-lowest passenger count in the top 10 (40,974,831), it has a good number of restaurants and shops and a high on-time flight average of 78.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Indira Gandhi International Airport, India<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Indira Gandhi International Airport in India ranks seventh with a final score of 67.23. It hosts a modest number of restaurants and shops compared to the top six, but boasts a commendable on-time flight average of 81.1%. Its passenger count was 59,490,074 in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Denver International Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Denver International Airport ranks eighth with a final score of 66.29. Its on-time flights average is the lowest among the top 10 at 69.5%, yet many people still choose to fly out of the Denver International Airport, which has a high passenger count of 69,286,461.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Istanbul International Airport, Turkey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Istanbul International Airport, Turkey ranks ninth with a final score of 65.67. It has a good on-time flight average of 75.2% and a relatively low parking fee of $16.2. Despite its passenger count of 64,289,107, the airport hosts fewer restaurants and shops compared to other airports in the top 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Charlotte Douglas International Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Douglas International Airport ranks tenth with a final score of 65.26. While the airport has a low parking fee of $35 and zero drop-off costs, along with a high on-time flight average of 79.3%, it offers the lowest number of restaurants and shops among the top 10 airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
