With these, and a host of other Springtime events\u2014from the Scottish Festival and Games Grand Parade in May, to the fun-filled days of the family-oriented fine arts festival\u2014you will get your fill of the awe-inspiring beauty that fills this town, and have some fun doing so!<\/p>\n<p><b>Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales\u2014April 5, 2013 \u2013 August 10, 2013<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This popular event, taking place right now, is one of the most enjoyable events that take place throughout the year. Hundreds of musical performers, storytellers, and artisans take to the streets to perform their craft, entertaining the masses while bringing a sense of creativity to the town. Portraying time periods as far back as the 1800s, these performers are a great way to delve into older cultures, to see what things were like, all while enjoying fun-filled months of good food, and good music.<\/p>\n<p><b>Gatlinburg Gateway Triathlon\u2014April 13, 2013<\/b><\/p>\n<p>For the athlete in your family, the Gatlinburg Gateway Triathlon is a true test of skill and endurance, and is open to anyone 15 years and older. Participants must be able to swim one-half mile, bike twenty kilometers, and run five kilometers, consecutively, through the beautiful landscape that surrounds this wonderful town. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in multiple age categories, and people will also be able to take part in a mixed team relay event. Truly, if you are looking for a great way to get in shape and test your strength, this is it! Don\u2019t miss it!<\/p>\n<p><b>Go Green Disc Golf Tournament\u2014April 21, 2013<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Part of the enjoyable <b>Earth Week<\/b> celebrations (taking place from April 21, 2013 to April 27, 2013) the <b>Go Green Disc Golf Tournament <\/b>is a great way to have some fun, and learn a little bit about your environment while doing so.
