It’s time to dust off your passport! A summer Euro trip is starting to become a reality for many hopeful tourists as countries within the European Union are starting to reopen for leisure travel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spain and France are the latest nations within the block to announce their reopening plans to allow American travelers to visit starting June 7 and 9, respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

American tourists can already visit Croatia, Greece<\/a>, Italy and a handful of other countries in the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below are some current requirements for entering some of the more popular European destinations at the time of this writing. As always, it’s best to consult the U.S. Embassy for each country for the most up-to-date travel information before confirming your plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bon voyage! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spain<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

International travelers to Spain will need to show<\/a> digital proof of vaccination, a negative Covid-19 test or proof that they have recently recovered from the virus to enter the country starting June 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

France<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The president of France said<\/a> the country will be ready to welcome back visitors from outside Europe starting June 9 who have a health pass, details of which have yet to be fully announced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italy<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Avoid a mandatory 10-day quarantine in Italy by booking a special \u201cCovid-tested flight,<\/a>” which requires taking a test both before and after the flight, and submitting an E.U. digital passenger locator form<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greece<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All visitors to Greece must either present<\/a> a vaccination certificate, a negative Covid-19 test result taken within 72 hours of arrival or proof of recovery from the virus within the past nine
