In the effort to encourage both locals and visitors alike to get outdoors and earn exciting prizes in support of local businesses, the Downtown Tempe Authority has launched the ‘A’ Mountain Challenge in collaboration with Zebra E-Bikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is for registered participants to hike ‘A’ Mountain 40 times \u2014 which is the distance equal to ascending Mount Everest \u2014 on their own schedule from now through May 31, 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who are lucky to complete the full challenge will be entered to win the grand prize of a downtown Tempe staycation package and a brand new Zebra Z1 e-bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration is now open until May 15. At $20 per person, participation includes a T-shirt along with an assortment of prizes that can be earned as you reach various climbing milestones, where the more you climb, the more prizes you can win! Once registered, participants will be emailed a link to log their climbs up the landmark mountain destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
