And rightfully so. The destination has it all, from a happening downtown to a relaxed beachfront. And for seasoned visitors of the city, a new renovation of one of San Diego\u2019s most iconic hotels will give reason to book another trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hot off the heels of a six year property-wide renovation, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hyatt.com\/en-US\/hotel\/california\/manchester-grand-hyatt-san-diego\/sanrs\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego<\/strong><\/a> has debuted a refreshed look with plenty of exciting features. For those unfamiliar with the regal hotel, it\u2019s made up of two towers, both with a memorable exterior design making it easy to spot from the ground, air and water. Able to accommodate large conventions, the hotel is just as well-suited for a fun family getaway or quick girlfriend trip. The lobby itself is stunning. Upon arrival, the grandiose entrance with towering ceilings gives off a sense of being in a big, bustling city. Paneled walls and ceilings, marble counters, touches of brass and a flood of natural light give off Grand Central Station-meets-the-West Coast vibes. Its most notable redesign is found at The Landing, the stunning lobby bar that quite frankly, we\u2019d be fine sipping martinis at every weekend. Floor-to-ceiling windows from both the bedroom and living area showcased views of the marina, downtown, Coronado Island and the surrounding cityscape. And since the Manchester Grand Hyatt is the tallest waterfront hotel on the West Coast, views should come as no surprise. It serves up the most delicious fresh fish, sushi and raw bar. A huge seafood tower greeted us upon arrival at our table, crowned with Alaskan King Crab legs over a selection of huge lobster tails, oysters and big, juicy shrimp. After sampling a little bit of everything (and loving it all), the seafood paella and hamachi jalape\u00f1o were standout dishes. And while we\u2019re hesitant to give praise to cauliflower, the pan-roasted buffalo cauliflower is a must-order appetizer and the best version of the trendy vegetable we\u2019ve ever had.
