Grey Gardens, a musical based on the humorous and heartbreaking life of the Beales, was delightfully performed at Tempe Center for the Arts. It is the story of East Hampton eccentrics Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter, "Little Edie," (aunt and cousin of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, respectively), who went from riches to rags during the 1930's to the 1980's.
